Keila (Leila)

Three years ago, as a two-month baby, Keila (Leila) was abandoned in a village near the shelter.

She barely weighed 2 kg and her tired body which could fit our palms was on the verge of giving up. Only her eyes were alive… sparkling and full of joy. She decided to give life and joy a chance and she survived!

She soon got all the things a dog could wish for: her home, her kernel and her family. At 6 moths she had it all, until they decided to bring her back. The reason was the same one used by all those who try to justify the fact that they are abandoning someone and breaking their heart. They simply didn’t want to give her a chance nor did they try to teach her manners or train her, even though she was still a puppy and eager to learn.

Despite of it all, Keila is a merry girl, she is curious and likes to have fun. She adores the company of others, and especially her roommate Igi.

This time she is looking for someone who knows that dogs shouldn’t be treated as commodities.

She is ready to leave the shelter and relax in somebody’s arms, this time forever.
